Amanda Mowle Esq.

Attorney Mowle is a lifelong Vermonter who focuses her practice on litigation, criminal defense, family law, and general practice, as well as assisting victims in navigating the legal system while preserving their rights.

Amanda is an attorney who has a strong background in litigation drawing from over a decade of experience. She joined Chadwick, Spensley & Fox, PLLC from the Vermont Office of Child Support where she was a supervising attorney. Stemming from her experience at the Office of Child Support she is well versed in the Vermont Parentage Act and child support matters. While at the Office of Child Support, she also served as an administrative hearings officer, hearing disputes and issuing decisions and orders.

Prior to her work at the Office of Child Support, Amanda was a staff attorney at the Rutland County Public Defender’s Office where she successfully tried numerous cases in front of a jury, including several serious felony cases which carried a potential sentence of life imprisonment. She has also attended the intensive Trial Practice Institute, in Macon, Georgia hosted by the National Criminal Defense College.

Amanda’s combined experience within the criminal and family legal systems have given her insight into how each intersects. She is adept at navigating both systems and utilizing this knowledge to assist and advise her clients.

Amanda graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in International Relations. She attended law school at Vermont Law School, earning her J.D. and then went on to earn an LL.M. in Air & Space Law from McGill University’s Institute of Air and Space Law. While at McGill she was assistant editor of the Annals of Air and Space Law as well as a member of the Space Law Moot Court.

Amanda is licensed to practice law in Vermont and is a member of the Vermont Bar Association. She is based primarily out of her home in Addison County and can assist clients throughout Vermont and from any of our office locations.
